Baseline assessment at Midvaal Water Company

Softchem conducted a baseline assessment at Midvaal Water Company, a bulk water supplier in the Northwest Province, on 31 October 2002. The objective of this assessment was to obtain detailed information as to operational conditions at the site for inclusion into the company's ISO 14001 aligned environmental management system.

The overall impression of the site and the operational conditions at the company were good, with relevant recommendations made for certain issues identified during the assessment.
